Elise Buik has been honored with the “Nonprofit CEO of the Year” award from the Los Angeles Business Journal, and the “Leadership Award” at the Peace Over Violence Annual Humanitarian Award Dinner. In addition, she is the first woman to head the United Way of Greater Los Angeles.
