COVID-19 RECOVERY CHARGE - SURVEY

The LA County Dept. of Consumer and Business Affairs is requesting your assistance with the Board of Supervisors’ COVID-19 Recovery Charge as an Economic Tool for Restaurants, Breweries, and Wineries Motion (Recovery Charge) by providing your valued feedback via an online survey.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey at the link below prior to Friday, February 19th

A brief synopsis of the Recovery Charge Motion is presented below (a link to the full Motion can be found in the survey):

LA County Board of Supervisors authored a Board Motion proposing an ordinance to allow food establishments, breweries, and wineries to temporarily charge a Recovery Charge within the unincorporated areas of the county. The surcharge would apply only to on-premises dining and drinking; not act as a substitution for tax, gratuity or tip; be clearly outlined on menus, bills, and displayed in a conspicuous place such as a counter; and have a sunset day of 90 days after full indoor dining is once again permitted.
