Here at Off Kilter, we have a couple of tartans that are dedicated to the law enforcement and firefighting communities. Both of these tartans have been designed specifically for those communities and proceeds from the sale go to benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and the National Fallen Firefighters Association, respectively. One of the aspects we really like to play up with OKK is that we are the only multi-brand modern kilt shop this side of the Mississippi – and Pasadena is our home. I think it would be distinctive if our police and firefighters were to adopt kilts as their dress uniforms, but I lack any sort of contact with either department. I am writing to ask if you, as Chamber president, have any contacts you might be willing or able to exercise on my behalf.
Beyond any official adoption of a kilt uniform, I’d also like to extend a 10% discount to the men and women of the PD and FD, and would love your advice on the best way to present that offer.
