The Candidate Forum held February 13th featured an opportunity for those attending to hear from candidates Alejandro (Alex) Menchaca, Phil Hosp, Bryan Witt and incumbent Andyu Wilson who are vying to represent District 7 on the Pasadena City Council. Incumbent Victor Gordo and challengers for the District 5 seat Krystal Lopez Padley and Aida Morales were also heard.
A capacity crowd filled the Theatre @ Boston Court for the forum which was co-sponsored by the Old Pasadena Management District, Playhouse District Association, South Lake Avenue Business Association and the Pasadena Chamber.
Chair of the Pasadena Chamber Board, Ishmael Trone moderated the discussion. Candidates answered questions related to the local economy, downtown development, local retail and hospitality industries and opportunities for economic growth.
