Fire Family Foundation establishes fund for Arcadia Firefighter Mike Herdman, to support the family he left behind

Fire Family Foundation has established a fund for Arcadia firefighter and paramedic Mike Herdman who, after missing for 14 days in the Los Padres National Forest, was found dead this past Friday. The fund will support the family he left behind, wife Bridget Herdman and their 6 ½ -year-old daughter Sienna.

“Thank you for setting this up…I don’t know what Sienna and I would do without all of the…support,” says Bridget. “We all love Mike’s big smile and his generous and adventurous spirit. He is loved and missed by us all.”

“The loss of a dedicated young father and firefighter brings sadness grief and sorrow,” articulated Mike Mastro, Fire Family Foundation Chair. “To his wife and daughter we offer our sympathies and deepest gratitude for his commitment and dedication.”

Herdman was a “loved brother within the line of fire services, “say representatives of the Arcadia Firefighters where Herdman had worked for nearly 8 years.
