Mobile application-based limousine service provides restaurants and lounges with cards good towards transportation costs during Pasadena Chamber’s 6 week cocktail celebration
Pasadena Chamber of Commerce member Uber is offering $20 towards the cost of their car service to patrons of SIP-tember participating restaurants and lounges. Uber is an application that allows you to request a ride with the tap of a button. Uber offers luxurious town cars and SUVs on-demand at a lower cost than hourly reservations through standard limousine companies. These are perfect for diners traveling short distances so that they can enjoy dinner with drinks and still get home safely. Additionally, Uber offers an economy option that is less expensive than a taxi. All services are billed directly to the user, eliminating the need for cash or tip. By offering their services, Uber will provide a high end experience while letting guests take control of their transportation needs.
Customers can take advantage of the offer by entering the code Siptember upon making their reservation. There are also cards at many of the participating venues with information about how to take advantage of the generous Uber offer. Those who aren’t already Uber users can download the mobile application to their phone or visit www.uber.com/go/Siptember for the offer.
SIP-tember: a celebration of the Cocktail is a six week online cocktail bracket challenge that features head-to-head competition between 64 cocktail from 32 venues. Patrons visit the venues, taste the drinks then vote for their favorites online at www.pasadenarestaurantweek. There are four online rounds with the finalist cocktails facing each other in a live taste off at the Taste of Pasadena event at the Rose Bowl on Thursday, September 26th from 6PM to 9PM. Uber will be offering $20 ride vouchers to each of the attendees at the Taste of Pasadena.
