At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next week.

Tuesday, April 7
The worlds of wine & beer collide in today’s specialty brew: Stone Cali-Belgique IPA aged in Red Wine Barrels. Fruity but dry, with a bit of hop bite for balance, this beer represents the subtler, softer side of barrel aging.
Friday, April 10
Re-re-re-remix! Today, we’re pouring a tried-and-true classic turned on its head: Stone IPA Double Dry Hopped w/Simcoe! Simcoe is a brewer’s darling hop variety, and for good reason. If you know Stone IPA like the back of your hand, it’s time to experience it with the aromas of pine and resin all the way turned up.

10 Barrel/Bluejacket/Stone Suede Imperial Porter, a 2013 Stone Collaboration that is aging beautifully, is today’s vintage 22oz bottle release. In addition, today is the debut of the winning beer from this year’s intra-brewery Stone Spotlight Series competition, Stone Spotlight: Imperial Mutt Brown Ale. This richly malty, exquisitely balanced brew is truly the crème de la crème, having emerged victorious from a large field of delicious & inventive beers.
