At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next couple of weeks.

Monday, January 19
Brand NEW on tap and in 22oz bottles ($8.50 + tax/CRV) starting today: Stone Do These Hops Make My Beer Look Big? IPA. This goofily named brew is the official beer of the 59th Annual American Hop Convention, and appropriately, it showcases the aromas of experimental hop HBC 291, renowned for spicy, floral, & citrus notes.
Tuesday, January 20
2014 Stone Imperial Russian Stout is back on draft for growler fills & in-house pours. Inky, roasty, chocolatey, luscious, and 11% ABV, it’s easy to see why this beer has a cult following.
Thursday, January 22
Another limited-release creation from our small-batch facility, Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station J's OT Stout, will hit our taps today! An oatmeal stout, with a silky mouthfeel and rich chocolate flavors, it’s a bit like the little brother to Tuesday’s gargantuan release.
Friday, January 23
It’s no secret that Stone fans are IPA devotees. We crave that bitter bite, those pungent aromas, that dry finish, and we love to celebrate the flower responsible for those attributes in our beer. Today’s event, “Hops, Hops & More Hops!” will feature a taplist chock-full of tropical, piney, floral, citrusy, perfectly bitter beers designed to please any hophead’s palate.
