New on the Pasadena Chamber website aw www.pasadena-chamber.org: a members only section, our new MEMBERS COMMUNITY FORUM.

On these pages, you will find:

1. A Calendar where you can post your events and activities. The calendar is viewable by fellow Chamber members and the public.

2. Discussion forums where you can exchange information, find help and advice, refer and get referrals, post job openings and much more.

It is simple and easy to use. On our main page, click on the Members Community Forum link. It is along the right side of the page below the main photo and Chamber calendar feed.

Once you click on the link, you will be prompted to Log In or Register.

When registering, you will have to agree to the basic terms of use. Once you have done that, you are taken to the registration page.

To register, you will need to create a User Name. You will then have to input your professional/company email address and create a Password.

Please note, the email address is cross-referenced with our database, so only members can register. The registration will not recognize emails addresses from @gmail.com, @yahoo.com or @hotmail.com or other email service identifications. You must use your company email address to register and access the Member Community Forum. Any of your company staff members are welcome to participate, as well.

Once registered, you will only need to put your User Name and Password to go to the Member Community Forum pages.

If you want to put your company event on the calendar, simply click on Member Events Calendar and post your event or activity. You can include a description of the event and any costs to attend or take part.

You can also post in any of the Discussion Groups or create a Discussion Group of your own.

Please be aware, any postings are moderated, so will not appear instantly, but will show up once approved by the moderator. Moderators are Chamber members with expertise in the area of interest.

We hope the Members Community Forum pages are easy to use and useful to our members.

The Discussion Groups are intended to facilitate communication between and among Pasadena Chamber members. We hope comments are positive and resources available are useful.

We welcome any suggestions, comments or advice on how we can make these Members Community Forum pages more meaningful and useful to the Pasadena Chamber membership. You can email paul@pasadena-chamber.org with your thoughts.
