Experience an evening of music in motion that is unparalleled in its artistry and sound. Eleven drum and bugle corps will perform at Drum Corps at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, July 2, 2016.
These are elite marching bands of brass, percussion, and dancers – most with 150 performers! Each will perform a show (11 – 13 minutes in length) consisting of an intricate blend of music and choreography. While it’s a competition, the goal is entertainment.
What’s most impressive? These shows are performed by youth, ages 16 – 21, who leave their homes for the summer to participate in a two-month national tour. The Rose Bowl is a major stop on this tour, and a national performance competition you won’t want to miss!
