During ArtNight Pasadena, enjoy a free evening of art, music and entertainment as Pasadena’s most prominent arts and cultural institutions swing open their doors. Begin your journey at any one of the 18 participating cultural institutions, where free shuttles will be waiting to transport you to your next destination. Last fall, 28,000 people experienced the excitement of ArtNight. Don't miss the fun this spring.
Enjoy a free evening of art, music and entertainment as Pasadena’s most prominent arts and cultural institutions swing open their doors. The night is yours to decide. Begin your journey at any one of our 21 participating cultural institutions, where free shuttles will be waiting to transport you to your next destination. Last spring, 28,000 people experienced the excitement of ArtNight.
ArtNight is an ongoing partnership among Pasadena cultural institutions and the Cultural Affairs Division of the City of Pasadena. The event is sponsored by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission with support from the Department of Transportation’s Transit Division.
See classical and contemporary artworks come to life in 3-D, and get into the picture! Room 13 creative studios will also be on display, including anthropomorphic figures coloring books, animal heads clay sculptures, and puppets. Hand-painted parasols and non-electric lamps by local environmental artist, Russell Ruff. MiniGrant Recipient, Julie Klima Casey, both a Fine Art Photographer & Stylist, will be working with a professional make up artist to present a living canvas. Live original music will be performed by Juli Crockett with accompaniment. The stage will be set in technicolor under the glow of Pasadena City Hall, at Day One, right in the heart of the Civic Center. We offer no-cost tasty treats and if that’s not enough, Slamming Sliders Food Truck is parked right outside. Free bus shuttles all evening. There are several ArtNight locations all within close walking distance of Light Bringer Project@Day One. So consider parking near City Hall or Paseo Colorado.
