The mission of the Chamber is to be “an effective economic and political force for our membership.” As a representative of greater Pasadena, the Chamber serves as a resource for information, an advocate for business and economic development and a partner in facilitating our members' prosperity. The Chamber works closely with the City of Pasadena, the Tournament of Roses® local service organizations, business districts and community based organizations to promote the economic health of our area, maintain the character of our neighborhoods and support an excellent small city environment for business, residents and visitors.

What is the basis for membership investment (dues)?
The level of member investment is based on the number of full time employees supported by the company.

Can non-members attend Chamber events?
Non-members may attend up to two Chamber events as a way to learn more about the benefits of joining the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.

What is the purpose of the Chamber?
The mission of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is "To be an effective economic and political force for our membership." We strive to achieve this mission by being a central force in the community and a place where local businesses can access resources as well as interact with other members of the Pasadena business community.

How can I get involved?
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce offers a wide range of activities to address the varied interests of such a large and diverse membership. For a list of committees and their purposes, check chamber/committees on this Web site.

What types of businesses are in the Chamber?
There are 1400 members in the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. Nearly 80% of them are small to medium size businesses, with the balance of the membership consisting of the larger corporations that make Pasadena their home.

Can businesses from outside of Pasadena join the Chamber?
Yes. Although over 80% of current members are Pasadena-based, the only requirement for membership is that the applicant have an interest in the business climate and the quality of life in Pasadena.
