Hundreds of eager visitors joined us for the Taste of Pasadena at the Rose Bowl in September. For our 5th event at the RoseBowl, food samples were offered by Pasadena Chamber members to the public. Some also included drinks and other samplings. In addition, the four finalist cocktails in the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge were available for tasting.

Congratulations to the Taproom at the Langham Huntington Hotel for serving the Japanese Blossom, Pasadena's Cocktail
of the Year for 2018. The Japanese Blossom is made with Kikori Japanese Whiskey, Yuzuri Liqueur, Lemon and Orange Juice and Lavender Syrup.Other competitors were:
- Fleming’s Prime Steak House and Wine Bar: The Old Town Bell made with Plymouth Gin, Fresh Basil and Bell Pepper ;
- The Otis Bar at La Grande Orange Café: Money or Your Life made with Bourbon, Benedictine, Combier and Orange Bitters;
- White Horse Lounge: SOS made with Glenfiddich 12 Year, House Made Nectarine Purée, Velvet Falernum, Green Chartreuse, Lemon Juice, Grapefruit Juice, Tajin and Nectarine Vapor.
Sponsor Sierra Family of Dealerships was on hand to showcase two of their cars for guests. Eagle Star Security had a display table where they showed some of the latest in security cameras and systems.
