Join the Pasadena Museum of California Art in celebrating it's life and legacy (2002 - 2018) while reflecting on the importance and magic of California art. In our closing weekend, enjoy the incredible works of our Summer/Fall 2018 Exhibition season, Grafton Tyler Brown: Exploring California, Judy Chicago's Birth Project: Born Again, and Brody Albert: Strata.

All Weekend: 

• Wisdom Arts Lab erects a temporary Tiny Town installation in our Kosmic Krylon Garage. Make you own small structure to reflect how every Californian contributes to their community
• Take a tour of our exhibitions and the Kosmic Krylon Garage
• Take at least 50% off selected items in our bookstore 

Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018:

• 2:00pm: Bridget R. Cooks, Ph.D., curator of Grafton Tyler Brown: Exploring California, leads a discussion with art historian Lizzetta LeFalle-Collins, Ph.D., on the life and work of this groundbreaking artist. Co-sponsored by the UCI Institute and Museum for California Art and the Department of African American Studies, UC Irvine. Free with museum admission. 

Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018:

• Enjoy free admission all day long. Come say goodbye to us!
• 2:00pm: Brody Albert leads a tour through his exhibition, Brody Albert: Strata to provide insight into his practice
