I flipped on the TV today and it happened to be on the Food Network's Guy Fieri's Grocery Games.

I saw a familiar face.

Claud Beltran, chef/genius behind Claud and Company Catering and The Eatery was a contestant making (of all things) a bacon-wrapped churro. How'd he do in the competition? Catch the repeats to find out for yourself. (He looked good, for sure.) Check it out here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/guys-grocery-games/index.html

Leo Temory, owner/manager of New York Deli on Raymond Avenue in Old Pasadena, and his cousin Jamal Zardan competed on this season's Amazing Race. Leo and his cousin were fan favorites, though they were eliminated just before the final round. Stop by New York Deli to see the amazing dishes Leo and his staff produce for you. See how much fun these cousins had while racing around the world here: http://www.cbs.com/shows/amazing_race/video/N_v1snUhy2qCNHf2aNVS4IbqlpSSYN12/the-amazing-race-amazing-crazy-race/

Colombo's Italian Steakhouse and Jazz Club was featured on an episode of Mystery Diners on Food Network. Dealing with personnel issues, owner Vic Parrino and manager Paul Prince and the staff at Colombo's solved their issue and continue to serve Eagle Rock's best Italian food (with a side of live Jazz nightly). And, Pie 'n Burger was featured on Burger Land on the Travel Channel. Learn the secret to their perfectly round patties and delicious pies at http://www.travelchannel.com/tv-shows/burger-land
