Today’s vintage re-release, 2004 Stone Imperial Russian Stout, was brewed & kegged twelve years ago! To give that context, that’s three presidential terms ago, a full elementary-to-high-school tenure, and a pre-The Office era. Limit up to 2 liters per customer for growler fills of this well-aged & highly rare brew.

Today, Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station spoils us with three small-batch, experimental brews. The first, Buoy 1 SD Pale Ale, is a single-malt, two-hop pale ale, featuring lemony, bright El Dorado hops & herbal, dill-like Sorachi Ace hops. Number two is called Lifeblood, and it’s a wonderfully balanced, highly drinkable brown ale. Finally, we’ll have “The Hand and Malt / Stone Sujeonggwa Red Ale” which is an unusual beer patterned after a Korean cinnamon-spiced punch.

Stone Grow A Pear Cliché is a special version of our blonde ale (Stone Cliché), dry-hopped with two experimental hop varieties and infused with pear juice. The result is predictably, but deliciously, fruity & refreshing. It’s on tap for a limited time, starting today.

The fourth incarnation of our gargantuan 13% imperial stout is released today! 2016 Drew Curtis / Wil Wheaton / Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout will be available on draft & in 22oz bottles. We will also have 22oz bottles of last year’s version and draft of Stone w00tstout 2.0, the 2014 version.

Today, 2014 Double Bastard Ale is our vintage re-release. As ever, this lacerative muther of an ale is not for the faint of heart or palate. For the uninitiated, it is an imperialized (read: heftier, boozier, bitterer) version of our infamous Arrogant Bastard Ale, which is itself an imperial red ale of sorts. If you can get past the intensity, Double Bastard Ale is one of the most complex, rewarding beers in our portfolio. Limit up to 2 liters per customer for growler fills, excepting those customers with branded 3-liter growlers.

Another set of three small-batch beers from Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station arrive today! Berlin is Coming is a tart and refreshing Berliner Weisse, ImperiALS IPA is a charity beer (part of the Ales for ALS program) brewed with a proprietary blend of hops, and The Lupulin Loop: Equinox is a single-hop IPA, purely demonstrating the character & aroma of Equinox hops, a newer American varietal that some describe as tropical and others describe as having a green pepper-like, vegetable-fruity aroma.

Today we celebrate both our beloved year-round double IPA & our downright worshipped, once-a-year triple IPA. We’ll have Stone Ruination Double IPA 2.0 w/American Oak, Stone Ruination Double IPA 2.0 w/Orange Peel & Vanilla Bean, and Stone RuinTen Triple IPA on draft & available for unlimited growler fills.

Today, we re-release 22oz bottles of 2006 Double Bastard Ale (the same beer, but a different year, waxed poetical about previously). They come pre-aged, so they are ripe for vintage beer tasting right away, but true cellar junkies may feel compelled to lay it down for a few more years before popping it open.
